Come One! Come All!

Join Us!

In an effort to reduce the amount of plastic in our waterways, Gallery North will be traveling to Flax Pond and Smith Point Beach to tackle the ever-growing issue of plastic pollution. Spanning two days and two locations, the clean-up will both address the unsightly litter in our communities, and make a remarkable difference in our local ecosystems.

Following the Community Beach Clean-Up, artist and lead Clean-Up coordinator, Jack D'Ambrosio, will use the collected trash to create a public sculpture that will educate the community about the dangers of plastic pollution.

Gallery North is proud to partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island, CEED - Center for Environmental Education and Discovery, and Atlantic Marine Conservation Society

This is a rain or shine event, please dress appropriately!
